Unfortunately we have had an outbreak of strangles at the yard. All affected horses are quaranteened and under veterinary care, all other horses are being monitored.

 

Horses from the yard will not be attending any shows or other yards

 

Lessons are not affected since the infection has been contained .

 

We would, however, like to ask riders and visitors to the riding school to respect the quarantine area and not to wander around the yard touching the horses in their stables. Obviously this does not apply to the pony/horse you will be riding when out in the main yard
